Our recruitment process
When you apply online for a role with Horizon Power you will have your application form acknowledged.
Your application is screened to determine if you meet the essential requirements of the role.
If you have skills and experience the organisation is interested in, you will be invited to attend a formal interview.
Interviews can take up to 90 minutes and may include technical questions as well as questions related to teamwork, safety and leadership. Horizon Power uses the "Behavioural based interview questions" (see the Interview Tips section for more information). Depending on the role, you may also undergo a computer based assessment for safety and/or job match. All candidates will be required to complete a computer based assessment for safety and job match.
We also will conduct reference checks on preferred candidates. You will need to provide the names and contact details of two referees. Preferred candidates will also be required to undergo a pre-employment medical examination.
Completion of any or all of the above does not guarantee that an offer will be made.
