For towns where hosting capacity is unavailable, Horizon Power may consider a renewable energy system with Extended Ramp Rate Smoothing and Feed-In-Management.

For all system sizes (including connections up to 30kW) the assessment will be as per the LV EG Connection Technical Requirements. We will conduct a System Impact Study (SIS) which may identify the need for network augmentation, however, Horizon Power cannot confirm what these augmentation costs are until after the study is completed.

Fees and charges

• Feed-in Management (FIM) charge: $14,000 
• System Impact Study (SIS) for connections in towns without hosting capacity: Quote to be provided by Horizon Power on a case by case basis
