This is a one-off rebate to offset the cost of establishing a new electricity account.
To be eligible hold at least one of the following concession cards:
This rebate offsets some of the electricity costs associated with operating an air conditioner. The rebate is equivalent to the cost of 221.8 kWh of electricity per applicable month for a specified period depending on where you live.
To be eligible you must:
1. Have a minimum of one dependent child and hold at least one of the following concession cards:

Please note: this rebate is only available to customers living in areas of Western Australia that experience prolonged periods of heat and applies for a specified number of months each year, depending on where you live in the State. More information is available below.
This rebate helps eligible concession card holders with dependent children by reducing the amount owing on your electricity bill. The rebate is calculated daily and is based on the number of dependent children you have.

Please note: permanent residents of caravan parks holding an appropriate concession card can also apply for this rebate, which is then provided as an electronic funds transfer.
Eligible customers will receive a payment of $305.25 inclusive of GST each year. The payment is divided into daily amounts and credited to your electricity account to reduce how much you pay each bill.

An initiative of the State Government, the purpose of the scheme is to ensure that permanent residents pay the same for power as other domestic customers, as well as be eligible for energy rebates. You must hold a valid concession card to be eligible for the scheme's energy subsidies.

The Life Support Equipment Electricity Subsidy Scheme provides assistance to financially disadvantaged persons to help cover electricity costs associated with operating life support equipment at home.
The Scheme is aimed at people who are dependent on specified life support equipment used in their homes under specialist medical advice and are holders of concession cards that are means tested.
To be eligible you must have medical authorisation from the treating physician and hold at least one of the following concession cards:

The State Government offers a subsidy for West Australians who suffer from chronic medical conditions which prevents them from controlling their own body temperature. This subsidy helps pay for domestic heating or cooling systems. The annual subsidy is enough to pay for the operation of a room-sized reverse cycle air-conditioner for six hours every day of the year.
