From Wednesday 1 February, the Application for a New Power Supply form will be renamed Installation of a New Meter. This is to avoid confusion between new meter requests and new connection applications.
The fixed charge that applies for the installation of a temporary ($1065.38) or permanent ($585.02) meter will now be included on the first bill, instead of being invoiced separately. The charge will be itemised on the bill as either a ‘New Connection Temp Supply’ or ‘New Connection Permanent Supply’.
