Horizon Power would like to thank our Kununurra and Wyndham customers for their patience and understanding this week during the two unplanned power interruptions on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Ahead of the weekend, we would like to advise that highly technical testing and programming is still occurring in the new power station. Whilst we would love to ensure there will be no further interruptions, unfortunately the reality is - further faults may occur as we fine tune the system ahead of commissioning.
Due to the faults that occurred this past week, and a commitment by the team to thoroughly check the system, the firm dates for our planned power outage cannot be confirmed as yet. However, we will provide 72 hours notice ahead of this specific whole of system test, which will occur at 3:00 am on two nights this week.
