Customers are still able to report faults on 13 23 51.
Unfortunately, because of this intermittent fault, only about half of the customers calling the Residential account enquiries number of 1800 267 926 or the Business account enquiries number of 1800 737 036 have been able to get through.
Other customers are experiencing an engaged signal due to the telephone fault.
This technical issue is affecting customers calling from landlines and mobile numbers.
Optus has confirmed there is a problem and is currently investigating the cause of this.
Optus is working on fully restoring the line as soon as possible.
