Customers in Esperance experienced a power outage of approximately 30 minutes around midday today.
The outage impacted surrounding areas including Salmon Gums, Condingup and Munglinup.
Horizon Power believes generation failure at the Esperance power station was the cause of the outage. The cause of the generation failure is currently being investigated.
“We sincerely apologise for the outage that impacted the Esperance community,” acting Regional Manager Goldfields/Esperance Frank Van Der Kooy said.
